My name is Zoë, and I specialise in sound design, music composition, and creating fully fledged, immersive audio products for films, animation, games, and audiovisual media.
I have experience in both linear media and game audio, and adore both worlds. In my opinion, audio can bring so much life to a story. Music can convey emotion in profound ways, and sound can immerse you entirely into another world. This is what I strive to do with my work, often by combining techniques from different genres and utilising both acoustic and electronic instruments to create a unique sound.
I'm currently in my fourth year of studying Music & Technology at HKU (University of the Arts Utrecht) and am based in the Netherlands.
I interned under brilliant Dutch sound designer Sander Houtman, and during my time there worked on titles such as "Singularity" from Blender Studios and the feature film "Phished" by director Thijs Meuwese.
In game audio, I'm currently working as Head Composer/Audio on the indie game: "Tales of Saigayo." This is an ongoing project for which the content is still strictly under wraps, but very exciting nonetheless.
